It has been said that music and movement are healthy for mind and body. This is a good reason to enroll youngsters in dance programs. Our basic programs are a mixture of solo dances, couple dances, and team dances. Through these various combinations, youngsters learn co-operation with others, co-ordination within their own body and courtesy and respect for others. What better way to help youngsters cope with living than participating in something that is lively and fun at the same time as it is educational.

This group of young people would seem a highly unlikely one with regard to dance training. Surprise is in order. Our teen program has attracted a keen bunch of boys and girls who found it a “cool” physical activity.
Skateboard, scoot or in-line skate to our facility, dance train for a while, skateboard, scoot or in-line skate away. Sounds like fun to us. No protective gear required for the dance part! |

Let us introduce you to couple dancing for the first time or let us improve your dance floor skills. We believe that everyone has a goal, no matter how large or small. Tell us what it is and we will help you achieve it. Starting from where you are presently we will help you get where you want to go. Instead of “Metro Transit”, we are a “Dance Transit.” |

Anyone joining a program at the dance centre has the choice of staying with leisure programs only, or moving to DanceSport after the base leisure program. This is the choice of the participant in consultation with program staff. You tell us your goals, we'll help you achieve them.
